This is where macro counting comes in. Macro counting is tracking the amount of calories, carbohydrates, protein, and dietary fats you consume. When you develop the skill of tracking your macros, you give your body the energy and nutrients it needs. Macro counting also helps you have more predictable results when it comes to losing fat and building muscle.

5 Muscle-building, science-backed workouts that you can do at the gym or at home
These are 60-minute workouts designed to help you lose fat and build muscle. In the workouts, we use the progressive overload technique where you will start lifting lighter weights with fewer sets and reps, then slowly increasing them as you get stronger. This will help you build more muscle mass, while attaining or maintaining leanness.
Each workout includes 30 to 90 seconds video tutorials demonstrating the set-up, execution, and form cues of each exercise so you can get the most out of it.
Dumbbell modification for each exercise is also included if you don't have a gym access. Keep in mind that you will likely need a full set of dumbbells for this program (10-30 lbs.) since you will be increasing your weight loads throughout the program.

The Dangers of
"Do-It-Yourself"
A common mistake that women make is try to go the “do-it-yourself” route as a way to save money.
